Pittsford Federal Credit UnionMaking a DifferenceSponsor of the Bach Children's Chorus Spring 2008 GalaPittsford Federal Credit Union is proud to support the very best parts of the communities we serve, and the Bach Children's Chorus is a brilliant example. For 40 years, the Pittsford FCU has served its members, with a continuing focus on children and their development. Initially, we were founded as a teachers’ credit union. After expanding to serve the community as a whole, we’ve continued to invest through our support of Pittsford Youth Services, Scholarship Programs, Little League Sponsorship, the YMCA’s Invest in Youth Campaign, and other special programs dedicated to helping our youngest community members develop into vibrant community contributors. In 2008, the credit union has expanded its investment in the community further than ever before. As a corporate sponsor of the Nazareth Arts Center Renovation, Pittsford FCU recognizes the importance of the arts in our community, and resources like the Bach Children’s Chorus will directly benefit for years to come. Pittsford Federal Credit Union also gives more to its members than any other credit union. That makes us different. As a not-for-profit institution, we return our excess earnings to our members in the form of fewer fees, lower loan rates, and greater dividends on deposits. In each of the past four years, members have enjoyed a $500,000 Special Member Dividend – a direct benefit of our cooperative structure and focus on cost control.
