The Connecticut State Library, in partnership with the Bruce Museum, will hold a Digitization Day to record and digitize the WWI stories and artifacts of Connecticut’s citizens.
We invite you to bring in your World War One-era stories, photographs, and keepsakes. This might be the story and papers of your grandfather who served in the Army, photographs of your mother in her Red Cross uniform, or a letter from a factory worker describing the scenes of the armistice celebrations outside his window.
Original materials will be returned to the owners after digitization is complete.
For more information and submission guidelines, please visit http://ctinworldwar1.org/digitization-days/submission-guidelines/.
Digitization contributors and their families will receive free Museum admission.
