Stuffed Apple Halves
Serves 4
Prep Time: 12 min
Cook Time: 5 min
2 medium red cooking apples
1/4 cup finely chopped raisins
1 Tbsp brown sugar, packed
1 Tbsp butter or margarine
1 cup apple juice
1. Cut apples in half removing cores with melon baller.
2. Mix raisins, brown sugar and butter together.
3. Press about 1 Tbsp mixture into center of each apple half.
4. Pour apple juice into microwave-safe dish, add filled apples and cover with lid or vented plastic wrap.
5. Microwave on HIGH 2 min. Rotate dish half turn and microwave 1 to 3 min more or until desired tenderness. Serve apples with juice.
