Family Program: Chinese New Year Celebration

For ages 5 and up.
Drop in program, no registration required.
2 – 2:45 pm
Chinese Acrobat
You’ll experience Chinese culture and language at this performance, which includes hand balancing, foot juggling, ribbon dancing and Chinese water bowl manipulation.
3:00 – 3:30 pm
Traditional Martial Arts: Tae Kwon Do
Students of School of Traditional Martial Arts will perform several Tae Kwon Do forms and paddle kicking combinations. The performance consists of gymnastic/acrobatic techniques and highlights perseverance, kindness, and confidence.
3:45 – 4 pm
Dragon Dance
A traditional Dragon Dance choreographed by Yulin Tsao will be performed by the students of Rogers International School.
4:00 – 4:30 pm
